The Mission Unit is part of the Responsibility Centre "Cabinet and Offices of Direct Collaboration with the Minister" and operates according to the directions given by the Head of Cabinet.
It represents the coordination and driving centre for the various ministerial divisions, as well as the Ministry of Justice's point of contact with other State administrations for the fulfilment of the obligations established by the current legislation on public policy analysis and evaluation and spending review. Additionally, it carries out strategic functions related to financial planning and coordination of the budgetary policy of the Ministry of Justice.
It assists in the functions and supports the Investment Evaluation and Verification Unit of the Ministry of Justice, established by Ministerial Decree of 13 August 2014, pursuant to Article 1 of Law No. 144 of 17 May 1999, through the collection, aggregation, and analysis of data provided by ministerial divisions and the administrations responsible for public investments.
It fulfils the requests from the Head of Cabinet regarding institutional communication and information in its areas of competence, promptly providing the political authority with any useful information, data, and reports on the activities carried out and the objectives achieved.
